*QSL* Oceania

isle

The Dx Adventure Radio Club (DA-RC) is renowned for its mini-peds, especially in the Oceania region where members often undertake short holidays to Pacific isles with a radio transceiver and antenna in tow.  Especially in such challenging band conditions contacts are few and far between but the excitement, particularly for those who manage to work them, is high!

lz3hiIn such cases, any contacts made with these brief stations are usually confirmed, if anything, by a postcard direct from the island; the reason being that having a minimum 500 QSL cards printed and available from a DA-RC QSL Manager would be, from a finance point of view, illogical.

A solution to this dilemma is the creation of a special new Oceania QSL card which will be used to confirm DA-RC mini-peds which have occurred in the past (e.g. 197DA101 Efate Island, 325DA0 Rotuma Island) and those bound to occur in the future.  The design can also be used by any member based in the Oceania region for either his standard home dx work, or, to confirm any contact made in the field or via a portable station.

Depicting beautiful images of various OC islands and picturesque islands seascapes, this card is a full colour creation, designed and printed by Emil at LZ3HI-Gold Print Service (See https://www.delta-alfa.com/lz3hi/ ).

The Oceania QSL is available via OC HQ at a cost of $20 AUS for 50 and payment can be made via Paypal to darren43da001@yahoo.com or with cash direct to:
