The Dx Adventure Radio Club (DA-RC) is thrilled to confirm an exciting DXpedition to the Bailiwick of Jersey (167 Division) in October 2025.
Jersey is a prized DXCC and IOTA entity on the 11m Freeband and one world-renowned for its pristine beaches, rugged coastlines, medieval castles, and WWII relics including the haunting war tunnels.
With an opportunity to work a DA-RC Team from the shores of this picturesque location, no doubt it will have all serious Island Chasers on the hunt!

Located in Northwestern Europe, just 12 nautical miles from France’s Cotentin Peninsula and 87 nautical miles south of Great Britain, Jersey is the largest of the Channel Islands, covering an area of 119.6 km² of breathtaking terrain in the English Channel.
Based on information collected from the 11m DX Community’s known data bases, the allocated callsign for this activity by the DA-RC HQ Team is 167DA/DX.

The DXpedition team features experienced French operators: 14DA028 Phil, 14DA041 Val, and 14DA045 Chris.
The 167 Division includes not just the main island of Jersey but also nearby uninhabited islands and rocks such as Les Écréhous, Les Dirouilles, Les Minquiers, and Les Pierres de Lecq, all falling under IOTA reference EU-013 (See: https://www.iota-world.org/islands-on-the-air/iota-groups-islands/342.html).

As an exciting bonus, the team will attempt to activate Guerdain Island — an IOTA entity never before heard on the 11m band.
Located just off Jersey’s coast, this activation promises to be a true first in Freeband radio history.
The operators will use a custom-built portable station, including a Yaesu transceiver and directional antennas, designed to reach all major DX regions.
Travel to and from the islands will be aboard DFDS ferry services, departing from Guernsey, St. Malo, Portsmouth, and Poole.

Stay tuned — the 167DA/DX team is coming to the airwaves this October!
