In July this year, our Dx Adventure Radio Club (DA-RC) will mark its crystal anniversary!
Since 2008, our club has accumulated some ultra-incredible achievements, most notably in the field of ‘Most Wanted’ DXCC, IOTA and IWI dxpedition work for which our group of guys are most famous; but also in the sphere of professional project work and elite DX hunting success!
To mark the very special occasion of our crystal anniversary, members will participate in a month long period of SES activity that will double as an exciting eleven meter DX contest, involving also non-DA’s.
In this unique radio sports event, DA-RC members will be attributed the suffix HB15 to be used in combination with their regular Delta-Alfa callsign.
Their goal is simple — to help our club celebrate its proud history by providing opportunities to fellow 11m community hobbyists to work them.
In addition to the HB15 suffix used by our members, a small number of DA guys will be invited to use the callsign suffix /CRYSTAL — the traditional symbol marking a 15 year anniversary.
These guys will be the eagerly sought after ‘multipliers’.
The goal for DX Hunters is simple — work as many DA/HB15 stations as possible during the 31 days of July, and hope to procure some crystal stations along the way to inflate your log!
