*PRODUCT WATCH* Cobra HH 50 WX ST

One of the supreme challenges facing teams of multiple persons during serious dx adventure work is communications between the base station and the immediate environment, that is, with fellow dx adventurists out and about in the field.

What’s happening on the radio, what’s needed at the store, and general chit chat, etc. are all immediate concerns!

An awesome new product, delivered by famous Citizens Band (CB) radio manufacturer Cobra, can satisfy that need.

Pictured above, the Cobra HH 50 WX ST is a compact, rugged, portable design mobile radio designed for use in the Citizens Band (CB) Radio Service.

In addition to letting the user communicate with the dxpedition epicenter on any dxpedition venture, the Cobra HH 50 WX ST handheld allows the user to tune in to all 40 CB radio channels, with a High/low power switch.

In addition to complete access to 10 National Weather Channels for the latest WX info, users can also get up-to-date info on road conditions and NOAA WX alerts along with crystal-clear comms with the Soundtracker noise reduction system.

Users can save their battery by switching to low power to talk to a nearby buddy and then turn it up to the high power for a long distance QSO.
