Contacts made by respected Dx Adventure Radio Club (DA-RC) member 14DAØ11 Chris in southern France on the weekend again prove that patience and operating skill will easily match the performance of a big gun station.
With his Sirio 3 element yagi antenna just a few meters above the ground due to accommodation constraints, Chris was able to navigate the pile up for 133SD156 Allan from the remote Marianas Islands, an arc-shaped archipelago made up by the summits of fifteen volcanic mountains in the north-western Pacific Ocean on the other side of the world, claiming yet another rare DXCC to his tally since becoming a DA-RC Member in June 2011.
Congratulations to 14DAØ11 Chris on this excellent contact with the 133 division which you can view below on this terrific YouTube video presentation…
I worked Allan also, 28/09/2012, RX rst 31, with Président George (old), imax 2000 vertical, and 1kw Zetagi BV-2001 MK4 😅😉😂
Tnx for this article about me. It was very hard to copy him but the contact was realized with my Sirio Antenna 3 ele. about 3 mtrs above the ground. You can check on my Website and sign my guestbook. Thanks a lot again for post the news here. 73’s de Chris
