After hinting at a successor to the TS-950SDX transceiver at the JARL Ham Fair in August last year, JVC KENWOOD Corporation is proud to announce that the new TS-990S transceiver will be unveiled as a reference exhibit at Dayton Hamvention 2012.
This state of the art transceiver, which covers the HF amateur bands plus 6 meters, raises the bar on HF performance and DX contest operating ease in more ways than one.
The dual colour TFT display and dual receiver/dual watch function, for instance, coupled with transmitter power output of 200 watts, spectrum scope, built-in keyer and auto AT, IF-DSP, RS-232, USB and LAN ports, will give you the edge in all dx adventure possible.
In addition to its launch on May 18 at Dayton Hamvention 2012, the new TS-990S transceiver will also appear at HAM RADIO 2012 in Friedrichshafen, Germany (June 22-24), and at Ham Fair 2012 in Tokyo, Japan (August 25-26) where it will no doubt create just as much buzz as it will at Daytona.
