*DX AWARD* Indian Ocean DXCC

Award Sample

Full colour and professionally printed on certificate quality card, the awesome Indian Ocean DXCC Award is designed by 1DA011 Luca from Eleven Four QSL Services and is available from DA-RC Headquarters.

The spectacular island DXCC of the Indian Ocean are a varied collection, including many of the smallest territories such as the Maldives (152) and one of the largest island nations in the world, Madagascar (188).

Many entities hug the coastlines of continents (Africa, Asia, Australia, Antarctica); others must be sought out hundreds of kilometers from any other landform.

Some, like Reunion Island (173) host a handful of active 11m DXers while others such as Heard and Macquarie Islands (229) are so isolated and so rugged they’ve barely registered a whimper on any 27 MHz frequency through history.

  • A minimum of 18 of the 23 Indian Ocean DXCC worked and confirmed.

When applying for DX Hunter Awards such as this one, applicants must use the Official Log Sheet containing all contact specifics including date, time, callsign, operator, etc.
