The Dx Adventure Radio Club (DA-RC) is thrilled to announce that experienced DXers 104DA104 Alex, 14DA037 Viviane and 14DA044 Hervé will soon combine to form a club station from picturesque Corsica Island in the Mediterranean Sea.
The team will be QRV on the eleven meter band during the month of May, 2023, and are aiming for 500+ contacts during their 7 days together.
During this time, the callsign will be 104DA/000 with the triple 0 suffix denoting a ‘club station’, in keeping with regular 11m DX community protocols.
Classified as one of the 18 regions of France, this exquisite dxstination, Corsica (EU-014), is the fourth-largest island in the Mediterranean Sea after Sicily (EU-025), Sardinia (EU-024) and Cyprus (AS-004).
According to the atlas, this diminutive French island lies southeast of the 14 Division mainland, west of the Italian Peninsula and immediately north of the Italian island of Sardinia (165 Division).
