New Dx Adventure Radio Club (DA-RC) member DW7DSZ / 79DA706 Aaron will be handling a 2m Netcall tonight 3.7.13 for his club station DX7EVM.
This is the South Cebu Chapter of SCAN International, a fantastic aid agency which provides communication and disaster preparedness and emergency response for thousands of people.
According to Aaron, the netcall starts at 9:00 pm and concludes one hour later at 10:00 pm.
Among other things, one important objective of the netcall is to check that stations are online in preparation for any emergency/disaster that might occur in the region.
