Dx Adventure Radio Club (DA-RC) members, here’s your chance to enjoy the beauty of Aruba Island and the world-class ham radio station of Carl and Sue Cook, P49V and P40YL.
Aruba is a 33 kilometer long island of the Lesser Antilles in the southern Caribbean Sea, located 27 km north of the coast of Venezuela.
Together with Bonaire and Curacão, it forms a group referred to as the ABC islands of the Leeward Antilles, the southern island chain of the Lesser Antilles, some of the most exciting IOTA DXstinations anywhere in the world.
About 10 minutes from the main town and only two blocks from the nearest grocery store, Carl and Sue’s house is located on the north end of the island, approximately one mile inland from the high rise hotels and beaches.
Apart from an outstanding shack, the house comes with a completely equipped kitchen, two bedrooms with king beds, bedding and towels (including beach towels).
The house is fully air-conditioned, has a washer and dryer, a large flat-screen TV with VHS/DVD player and cable (receives CNN and HBO).
It also has Wi-Fi Internet.

My wife and I are going to be in Aruba 6-26 to 7-3, 2014. I would like to rent your QTH in the future. Just wanted to ask if you will be on island so that I might come by to introduce myself and see your QTH.
Thank you,
