One of his country’s most active DX Hunters and a keen Freeband contester, Pepe has a distinguished involvement in 11m activities through previous association with the Romeo Charlie and Lima Radio clubs respectively.  He’s also a current member of Mexican club, Mike Echo X-ray (MEX).

10DA112 Pepe’s home, México, is a federal republic and sovereign nation located in North America.  According to the atlas, the country is bordered to the north by the United States (2 Division); to the south and west by the Pacific Ocean; to the southeast by Belize (218), Guatemala (72) and the Caribbean Sea; and to the east by the Gulf of Mexico.

Home to many of the world’s ‘Big Guns’, Mexico is regarded as one of the most active 11m countries there is — not just in Latin America — but the entire 11m DX Community!

Of Mexico’s 32 states, Pepe resides in the state of Michoacán, located in the western part of the country on the extreme southwest of the central highlands.  Nicknamed the “place of the fishermen” according to Pep, Michoacán is bordered by the states of Colima and Jalisco to the west and northwest, Guanajuato to the north, Querétaro to the northeast, the State of México to the east, and Guerrero to the southeast.

His residence here is in Vista Hermosa, Michoacán, (aka Vista Hermosa de Negrete), a small town, famous for its beautiful views and classic architecture.
