Call Frequencies

For many years, both 27 MHz and 26 MHz frequencies have presented a wealth of logging opportunities for those Short Wave radio enthusiasts not limiting themselves to 30 MHZ and above.  With Sunspot Cycle 24 imminent, these opportunities are set to continue with more and more citizens band (CB) and Freeband operators certain to take to the 11m band in search of DX action.

27 MHz, for instance, is a hive of island radio communications action with many of the Pacific Ocean’s underdeveloped islands maintaining the citizens band as the major form of radio communication.

With this in mind, the frequencies below have been compiled by the Dx Adventure Radio Club for the purposes of short wave listening (SWL), in the hope of enabling SW members associated with DA-RC to enjoy the openings created by more propitious conditions.

If you have knowledge of other 11m frequencies which attract regular use then please pass on the information to DA-RC Headquarters and the frequency list below can be updated.
