How do I adjust the frequency on the rci 2995? When I am on fm everyone tells me I am about 15 khz off. How do I fix this without knocking out am and ssb? What are the adjustment points?

It is an impressive looking radio, but the price equals that of an all-mode used ham radio of fairly recent manufacture.
Especially if you look at the design of the RCI-2995DX, the ham radio is clearly the better buy. The RCI still uses multiple (pulled) crystal oscillators as frequency references, where the ham radio uses a single master oscillator coupled to multiple DDS circuits to generate things like SSB injection frequencies and local oscillators. As a result, the ham radio can be tuned in 10 Hz steps and has a much better frequency accuracy. The RCI's primitive PLL concept is ancient in design and frequency accuracy is 100Hz at best. Even in the eighties ham radios already did better than that.
To summarize: Looks great but has dated technology and is priced way to high. Forget it!

Hi all. I got mine in 2008 and get great audio reports. 180w pep on ssb is no problem for this one. It's a fantastic radio! One drawback though, it's a bit noisy on receive.
