The thrilling new ‘Eleven Meter & PMR Field Day’ will fire up over 2 weekends in 2020 with teams from many different radio clubs, including our own Dx Adventure Radio Club (DA-RC), partaking.

Like popular Ham Field Days such as the John Moyle Field Day (Australia), ARRL Field Day (USA),

Pending coronavirus intervention, the 1st Field Day session will key up late June and the 2nd in mid-September.

This time in the field will combine to provide 96 hours of enjoyable field day action!

“The Field Day (FD) aims to bring together operators driven by the same passion, around activation days outdoors, in portable conditions.

It’s an opportunity to meet on the ground, to go out to the barbecues, to exchange, to compete with each other by establishing a maximum of contacts, to laugh, in short to have a good time in a good mood and this, no matter which group we come from.

The same goes for Hunters who will try to contact as many FD stations as possible…”
