112DA/DX Lebanon
The Dx Adventure Radio Club (DA-RC) is thrilled to pronounce that veteran DXpedition enthusiast 14DA025 Farid will be active as 112DA/DX from the Republic of Lebanon in the MIddle East region from February 1, 2010 for 5 months.
A small rarely activated DXCC on the eastern shore of the Mediterranean Sea in Western Asia and one which is often savaged by war, 112 Division is bordered by Syria (181 Division) to the north and east and Israel (97 Division) to the south. It is also regarded as one of the most religiously diverse places in the Middle East.
This DA-RC activation qualifies for a /DX callsign in accordance with DA-RC’s DXpedition Guidelines, given that 200 contacts have not been achieved by any sporadic home-operator activity in 5 years and that the last official /0 and /DX activities were also low key affairs.
A fantastic full-colour double QSL card designed by 14DA028 Phil and printed by LZ3HI (Gold Print Service) in Bulgaria will be available to confirm this exciting DXCC activity.
