Dates

Participation
* All DXers are invited to participate in the event, regardless of DX group affiliation or DXCC location * Teams (DA-RC and non-DA-RC) must register by contacting the IWI-Kend Event Manager (See below).Proofs
* DA-RC DXpedition protocol applies to the event * Activating teams must provide all proofs (pictures, videos, GPS, etc.) within 1 month of the event taking place so that the activation can validated. * If no sufficient proofs are received, the activation will be deemed as non-valid and the contacts made will not be taken into account for point scoring or the exchange of QSL cards. * All proofs must be sent before xx/xx/2011 to: iwi-kend@xxxxxx.fr or by post mail.Frequencies and Modes
* 26.200 MHz—27.995 MHz (Note: Participants are advised to adhere to their local laws regarding legal frequency use) * As a courtesy to other band users, frequencies between 27.500 MHz and 27.600 MHz will be forbidden. Any contact made within this range will be declared not valid. * All modes are validScoring
IWI Chasers
* Point/s are scored for each contact made (with IWI in or outside your own DXCC) * Only one contact per IWI station is valid * The total is then multiplied by the number of worked IWI to give a final points scoreIWI DXpedition Teams
* 1 point is scored for each contact made (progressive number or log) * Only one contact per IWI Chaser per island is valid * In the case where more than 1 IWI is activated by a team, the sum of all contacts made will be the final totalPoints Allocation for Islands
* 1 point: Island can be reached by car through a bridge, with AC/DC power source * 2 points: Island can be reached by car through a bridge, without AC/DC power source * 3 points: Island cannot be reached by car and portable generator and/or batteries requiredPrizes
* The first 3 operators in the IWI Chasers Category will win prizes * The first place team in the IWI DXpeditioner Category (Most Contacts) will win a prize * The first place team in the IWI DXpeditioner Category (Most Islands Activated) will win a prize * Sponsors and prizes will be announced in the lead up to the contestQSL Confirmation Cards
DA-RC
* A double QSL Card listing all DA-RC IWI activities will be available from the DA-RC Event Manager (See below).
Non-DA-RC
* Each radio group will have to confirm their own contacts via a QSL manager. Neither the Event Manager or any of DA-RC’s Continental QSL Managers will confirm any contact made by a non-DA-RC Team.
Logs
* Standard log sheets must be used which contain the following QSO details (Date of QSO, time in UTC, callsign, frequency, mode, progressive numbers RX and TX). * Logs must be received by the Event Manager by TBA * To ensure the integrity of the event, any contact made or confirmed via clusters will be cancelled and the contestant will be disqualified * Logs can be downloaded from the Delta-Alfa website
Final Results
* Results and scores will be published on www.delta-alfa.com , as well as on some of its partner organisations (See http://www.delta-alfa.com/about/partner-organisations/ )
