DA-RC IWI-expert and architect of the well-known IWI-Kend concept 14DA028 Phil will recommence his inland water island dx adventure from Grand Marais Island tomorrow with the callsign, 14DA/62040M.
[Please note that only 12 stations have been logged to date courtesy of Phil’s time on the isle back in July. See http://www.delta-alfa.com/log-62040m/].
An unusually formed inland water island which resembles a heart shape, Quaint Grand Marais island is situated on the Siphon river in the commune Vitry-en-Artois, part of the department of Pas-de-Calais (Department 62) in northern France (14 division).
This scenic green area is also ideal for cycling, walking, fishing and horse riding and will no doubt provide a pleasant backdrop for Phil’s IWI station.
Confirmed by an announcement on the private DA-RC Members Mailing List and Facebook pages, Phil will be on the air from 9h30/10h00 GMT until 15h00 GMT and hopes to work as many stations as possible during his time on the island.
