The Dx Adventure Radio Club (DA-RC) has its own official mailing list which is available to affiliates only. This list provides the convenience of communication between like-minded members when band conditions do not permit radio contact, enabling them to discuss hobby related information (e.g. antennas, radios, accessories, etc.), to discuss and plan DXpedition activities, recruit DXpedition team mates and much more!
All members are expected to subscribe to the list so as to keep pace with DA-RC events and news. The list also facilitates easy and fast distribution of important information to multiple e-mail addresses simultaneously on behalf of the HQ Team.
The rules of the mailing list are consistent with other lists and include:
- All messages must have a subject related to ham, 11m, cb or SWL
- Subject headings must concisely describe the topic
- Messages written only in English are permitted
- All messages must be signed with the member’s name and callsign
- Respect for the opinions or suggestions of other members — Insults or disrespectful words towards other members are not acceptable
- All messages must be relevant and interesting to the list. If not, it is better to reply in private
- All comments or materials posted by members on the mailing list are the property of the member and must not be used, shared or reported on another mailing list or to non-DA-RC members or groups
- Given that women and young radio operators are members of the list, bad language/swearing is not acceptable
