Hello Darren & Tom,

Many thanks for this really excellent account of your dxpedition to197 division.

Its guys like you who help keep 11m alive and intersting, I just hope that having read your article this will inspire some other operators in the Pacific area to activate some other rare islands.

One thing that I found rather strange was the fact that there was no one else prepared to join you guys on this fantastic DX adventure!!!
If I had lived closer I’d have been right there with you guys … and I’m an old guy of 67 years =)))

Thanks guys…. your efforts are greatly appreciated by all who love 11m.

A great story with great pics and video, you very obviously enjoyed yourselves on the activation, and got some good contacts.

Sorry I wasn’t able to make the trip, but that’s the luck, hope to be back on the air soon and make it the next time.

Well Done on the 197DA/0 activation and for the pictures and story.

It was great to hear you guys just about everyday into 43 and to hear about all the other contacts you were able to make. What a great gesture to donate the IMAX to the young fella over there.. a true show of both your generosity and character.

Thanks again and I congratulate you for making it possible for all of us 11m DXer’s to work such a rare island.

Looks like you guys had a great DXpedition to 197 division. Heard you guys once, and lucky enough to work Tom, unfortunately the conditions were poor and many missed out.

Hi Tom and Darren !

What’s a fantastic trip you’ve did really !

You made us dream during two weeks and we would like to congratulate you for that.

The conditions was not the best sure, but many stations here in Europa and all around the world tried to contact you, and it was so nice to see this general enthusiasm at this time of low propagation.

We are sure that you came back home with many good mental pics and perhaps that this good memory will give you the desire to come back on 197 division when the conditions will be better ?

Thank you for this nice event and even if we were not able to hear you, you have to know that we were so glad to follow you by the internet.

The article is very good but it’s missing some high resolution photos to have more details (700 pixels large could be much better I think).

Hey guys don’t forget to let us in touch about the Imax 2000 antenna happy ending !
